Solon Springs Community Center

Long-time Solon Springs residents who helped make this building a reality

The community center is accessible to the entire community and is a result of the generosity of many people in the Solon Springs area.  The Municipal Joint Boards of the Town of Solon Springs and the Village of Solon Springs entered into an agreement for the ownership, operation and control of the Solon Springs Community Center and established the Solon Springs Community Center Commission.  The operations and maintenance costs for the center are partially funded by tax levy but the center relies on rental fees and donations to cover the remaining costs.    

Located in the center of the community, it is within walking distance for many of the village residents.  Adequate space is available for various community services, activities, and functions.  The building is handicapped accessible and has a covered portico at the entrance, allowing people to be dropped off right at the door.  

The center is the meeting location for many of the local government and non-profit groups.  It is also the location for many regularly scheduled community events such as senior meals, quilter's group, exercise groups, school functions and other activities.  This is an excellent location to celebrate weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, bridal showers and baby showers.  The center is available for all to use and enjoy.  

To ensure everyone has an opportunity to utilize the center we do require reservations.  To ensure all users are aware and understand the provisions and conditions of use as well as the rules and regulations for use, we do require a signed Facility Use Agreement for all users.  You may find a copy of the contract here.
